Hors d'oeuvres of fine caviar
Geflite fish in a jar
Made a promise at the buffet
To eat the sushi and the fillet
When you need seafood now
Don't want chicken or cow
And there's never a doubt
That you'll order the trout
Or a shrimp cocktail glass
With Chilean Sea Bass
Catching fish via prededation
Is the grizzly bear's dietary foundation
They're the sea bird's favorite dish
And even fish eat other fish!
Survival under the sea
Is "Eat them or eat me"
And you can't swim to hide
In ebbs and flows of the tide
Gutted, skinned, cooked, flambeed
In endless seafood parades
Can't resist temptation
Ahi tuna adoration
Smacking lips just thinking 'bout
Pan fried garlic lemon trout
The eaters of fish
Exist in every nation
The eaters of fish
Including mollusks and crustaceans
The eaters of fish
Like battered cod and salty french fries
No reluctance to partake
To dip in tartar sauce and bake
Pescatarian elation
For fish taco salivation!

I bought the 12 inch single for Bela Lugosi’s Dead at Fred’s records in St. John’s, Newfoundland in the eighties and it remained a treasured item in my collection until it was lost, left behind, stolen, loaned out, whatever. I accepted that that item was lost to time and likely irreplaceable. Hence my utter shock to see that I will once again hear this evocative masterwork on vinyl along with an extra three tracks. I recall Boys was included on the B-side of that long list single. Thank you! skritti
